COMPARE

Pyro beside the field. Capability by capability.

Recruitment agencies and startups shortlist from two kinds of tool: the ATS that holds the work, and the AI tools bolted onto it. Here is Pyro beside both, on the five things that decide whether a hire can be explained.

Facts checked on 17 October 2026 from each vendor’s own public website. If something has changed, tell us at hello@get-pyro.com and we will correct it.

ONE TO ONE

Pyro beside one platform.

WHERE PYRO IS DIFFERENT

All five, in one system.

Every column filledPyro is the only platform in this table with all five: a graded posting, screening with reasons, an AI interviewer, a live copilot and ratings linked to quotes, in one ATS.
A posting graded before it goes liveWe found no other platform here that grades a job posting for biased wording before it publishes. In Pyro, a posting with an age limit cannot publish.
One standard from start to finishThe criteria agreed before the first CV carry through screening, ARIA’s first round and the human round, into one record.
No seatsMost platforms here price per user or by quote. Pyro charges for the work the AI does and a fee when you hire, so a new recruiter costs nothing.
THE FIVE CAPABILITIES

What each column means.

Graded job posting with bias checkThe posting is scored before it goes live, section by section, and biased or exclusionary wording is flagged with a fix. A generator that only writes postings does not count.
AI CV screening with reasonsEvery applicant is scored against the role, and the score comes with its working: what matched, and what is missing. A ranking without reasons is marked partial.
AI interviewerThe product runs a first-round interview with the candidate itself. A spoken conversation counts in full; one-way video or a text chatbot is marked partial.
Live copilot for interviewersDuring an interview run by a person, the interviewer sees what has been asked, follow-ups and what is still open, live. Notes that arrive after the call are marked partial.
Ratings linked to quotesEach rating on a scorecard links to the candidate’s own words or the moment they said them, so anyone can check it.
PricingHow the vendor charges, as published on its own pricing page: per user, by quote, or by usage.
HOW WE CHECKED

How to read this table.

Every cell comes from the vendor’s own public website, read on 16 and 17 October 2026: product pages, help centres and pricing pages.

“Partial” means the capability exists in a narrower form, described in the cell. “Not found” means we could not find it on the vendor’s public pages, not that it can never exist.

Products change quickly. If a cell is out of date, tell us at hello@get-pyro.com and we will correct it.

QUESTIONS

Asked often.

How is Pyro different from a traditional ATS?

A traditional ATS holds candidates and moves them through stages. Pyro also does the work in between: it grades the posting, screens with its reasoning shown, runs the first-round interview and helps the interviewer in the human round.

Which platforms in this table have an AI interviewer?

Pyro, Bullhorn, Ceipal, Greenhouse, HireVue, Alex, Metaview and BrightHire. Manatal’s is an asynchronous video interview and Zoho Recruit’s a text chatbot.

Does Pyro replace our current ATS?

It can. Pyro can be your only system, or run beside the ATS you already have.

How is Pyro priced compared with per-seat platforms?

Pyro has no per-seat licence. You pay for what the AI does, metered per use, plus a fee when you hire. Book a demo for numbers on your volumes.

How did you check these facts?

From each vendor’s own public website, on the date at the top of this page. Tell us if something has changed and we will correct it.

What does “Not found” mean in the table?

That we could not find the capability on the vendor’s own public pages on the date at the top of this page. Products change; tell us if one has.

Why compare an ATS with interview tools?

Because buyers do. Many teams pair an ATS with separate AI interview or interview intelligence tools. Pyro does that work inside the ATS, so the table shows both kinds side by side.
